Cruise along CaliforniaÂ´s spectacular coastline on a relaxing day trip from San Francisco. YouÂ´ll get the opportunity to come up close to what has to be one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world.
Our route will take you south on Highway No 1 through the beach town of Santa Cruz and features one spectacular view after another. Following a morning of winding down the coast, weÂ´ll stop at Monterey, setting of John SteinbeckÂ´s famous novel Cannery Row. Here if you wish you will have time to visit Monterey Bay Aquarium. More than 250,000 creatures fill over 200 spectacular galleries and exhibits, including a walk-through aviary, a three storey kelp forest, penguins, and a million gallon Outer Bay display. There will also be plenty of time for some lunch and shopping in this picturesque coastal settlement.
After a drive along the 17 Mile Drive with its gorgeous seascapes and chances to spot wildlife, passing Pebble Beach golf course, the Lone Pine, and some of the best coastal panoramas in the world, we will stop in the gallery/restaurant district of Carmel-by-the-Sea and give you enough photo opportunities along the way.
Then leaving the natural world behind well head for the future as our tour leads us through Silicon Valley, the high tech capital of the world, before we return back to San Francisco.
