Legoland Discovery Center
LEGOLAND Discovery Center, a giant indoor LEGO world designed for families with children aged 2 to 12, is located in Schaumburg's Streets of Woodfield shopping center. The 30,000-square-foot attraction features activities ranging from hands-on LEGO play to life-sized LEGO adventures designed to provide several hours of family entertainment centered around the iconic interlocking colored bricks. It combines LEGO model building and unusual construction challenges with theme park - like attractions such as a Technicycle, Dragon Ride, Adventure Trail, adn "Bob the Builder" 4 D cinema incorporating fantastical LEGO creatures and Lego - based special effects.

Hours & minutes We recommend that you allow at least 2 1/2 hours to visit the LEGOLAND Discovery Center, but you can stay for as long as you like.
Start or opening time Monday through Friday attraction opens at 12 pm and last admission is at 5pm. Saturday and Sunday attraction opens at 10 am and last admission is at 5pm.
Is there any parking? Is it on the street, private or public? Yes, parking is available in the front of the building or in the parking garage adjacent to the building, both at no cost.
How do you get there by car? North: I-94 South to I-294 South, to I-90 West, to I-53 South, to Exit 1B, turn right onto Higgins Rd, then turn right onto N. Martingale Road. South: I-294 North to I-290 West to Illinois 72/Higgins Road Exit. Turn left onto Higgins Road, then turn right onto N. Martingale Road. From the Southwest Suburbs: I-355 North to I-290 West to Illinois 72 / Higgins Road Exit. Turn left onto Higgins Road, then Right onto N. Martingale Road. East: I-90 West to I-53 South to Higgins Road. Turn right onto Higgins Road, then turn right onto N. Martingale Rd. West: I-90 Eastbound (Northwest Tollway) to I-53 South to Higgins Road. Turn right onto Higgins Road, then turn right onto N. Martingale Road.

Is there a restaurant at the venue? Yes, there is a Café at the LEGOLAND Discovery Center that sells a range of snacks and hot and cold drinks.
Are there smoking / non smoking areas? No, to ensure the best environment for children to play, we operate a no smoking policy throughout the LEGOLAND Discovery Center, so if you want to smoke, you will have to go outside.
May the client bring his/her own food? Is there a picnic area? Unfortunately bringing your own food is not allowed. However, we have a Café where you can purchse food and drink.
