Xoxo, Cuilapam y Zaachila
This trip starts with taking you from your hotel to the Village Arrazola Xoxo. The wood work is an old tradition of the Zapotecan culture, which reches its maximum expresion with the Alebrijes elaboration. The Alebrijes are unreal and magic pieces which come to life through the people imagination. You will continue with the visit to the Cuilapam de Guerrerom, an ex monastery located in the region of Central Valleys of Oaxaca. The monastery has been started to be built in the XVI century but was never concluded. You will finish the visit with the village of Zaachila, that was founded aproximately in the XIII century A.C.. here you will have the opportunity to visit one of the native markets of Oaxaca, The Zaachila and the Archaeological zone of this village.
