Enjoy your city tour to visit Mahar Myat Muni Pagoda; it is said this Buddha image is over a millennium old. Buddhists believe that this heavily gilded Maha Muni Buddha is a representation of Buddha, and highly regarded. Shwe In Bin Monastery; built in traditional Burmese fashion is one of the few buildings that have survived the test of time and constructed in 1895 by Chinese merchants, the monastery consists of many impressive woodcarvings and also contains a number of admirable works of art. Then morning stop at Zecho market where much of the locals´ time is spent shopping for everything from fresh fruit & vegetables to everyday household items. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will continue to visit Shwenandaw Monastery; it is a wonderfully fragile yet grand example of 19th century Myanmar teak architecture and also a significant masterpiece of the wood-carver’s art. Sandamuni Pagoda; it was erected on the location of King Mindons provisional palace. The Paya is also famous for the Iron Buddha Sandamani cast. Kuthodaw Pagoda; the Buddhist bible in stone-inscription version tells all the teachings of Buddha. There are 729 pieces of marble stones, each of which is housed by temples. Mandalay Hill; it is located outside the North of downtown which summit is 230 m above the surrounding plain and is the natural watch-tower for the visitors to watch sunrise or sunset over the city plains.

Drive to Amarpaura; one of the capitals of the third Myanmar Empire to seeing the U Bein Bridge; it is one of the most attractive spots for tourists, the longest teak bridge in the world and it is about two centuries old. Next stop, you will visit the Silk Weaving Industry that it is very famous here before proceeding to Mahagandayon Monastery where more than a thousand monks live and study. Observe the lunch process of hundreds of Buddhist monk if time permits. Then we will continue to Inwa (Ava) it is a small town in the south of Amarapura. Upon arrival in Inwa, take the horse-cart through the Inwa archaeological zone to the Grand Bargaya Monastery; its famous collection of Buddha images from different periods. Proceed to the pier and cross the river by boat to Sagaing on the west shore of the river. The Sagaing Hills are noted as a religious retreat and have over 400 monasteries and nunneries. About 10 km from Sagaing is the Kaunghmudaw, an enormous dome-shaped pagoda built by King Thalun in 1636. At the nearby village of Ywataung, one can see silversmiths making silverware by traditional methods. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Late afternoon, you will return to the hotel.

You will drive for 2.5 hours to Monywa; a lovely town, situated on the eastern bark of the Chindwin River, and a major trade center for agricultural produce from the Surrounding Chindwin Valley. On arrival in Monywa, you will cross the Chindwing River by ferry to visiting Shwe Ba Hill; just beyond Pho Win Hill, it features unique pavilions cut from the surrounding sandstone and filled with plain Buddha images. Shweba Taung is on the West Bank of Chindwin River. There, temples and caves are carved out of volcanic rocks and inside the walls of some caves are decorated with 13 century / 18 century mural paintings. Thanboddhay Pagoda; it is the only pagoda with this unique shape in the whole country. The square temple base (each side about 166 feet) which worshippers can enter is topped by receding terraces, with myriads of small stupas (864 in number) surrounding the central golden chedi, 132 feet in height. Return to Mandalay with sunset at U Bein Bridge. Lunch will be served at local restaurant.
