At the northernmost point of the Alagoas Gold Coast, Maragogi is a location blessed with the exuberant beauty of its pristine beaches and living galés (a reef complex named after old shipwrecks). You can take an optional catamaran trip 6km offshore to the galés for an additional cost. This trip is dependent on the tide. It is home to the Municipal Marine Park containing the worlds second largest coral reservation and a preservation area for the marine manatee.
