Excursions in Chihuahua

Chihuahua night tour where you will enjoy the colorful of the city. You will visit the main plaza, the capitol state, the Cathedral, the San Francisco church, the dancing fountain show, the downtown area with all lighted bildings and at the end you will visit a look out point area where you will be able to see a panoramic view of Chihuahua City. Visit to the Basaseachic Waterfall National Park. The landscape consists of pine forest, canyons, streams and valleys. Just before reaching the cliff, the Basaseachic river´s flow increases with the water from two streams; therefore, especially during the rainy season, it becomes a great spectacle. Round trip transfer to Batopilas with 2 nights lodging. The narrow, winding road descending towards Batopilas, with cliffs on both sides, alternates coniferous forests and pink, white and dark brown rock formations. Tour of Creel. On the way we will visit the Mennonite Community in Cuahtemoc City where we will visit the local museum. Then on to Creel. upon arriving, tour around the town visiting the Arareco Lake, Mushroom and Frog Valley (rock formations), the old San Ignacio Mission (Tarahumara Cave) and a tarahumara Cave. We wll also visit the main Plaza where you will have shooping time at the locat handicraft stores. Back to Chihuahua City.
Tour to the famous Copper Canyon area. On the way we will visit the Mennonite Community in Cuahtemoc, then on to Divisadero. Upon arriving, your tour guide will take you to a walking tour along the canyon, you will visit the several look out points located in the area and will have time to relak and take some pictures to the amaizing views. Also free shopping time with the Tarahumara indians. In the evening back to Chihuahua City.
North of the city there are the caverns which have been eqquipped so that visitors can enjoy a safe and interesting walk through the Earth. You can see formations that resemble a Quixote, a dinousaur head and the Tower of Pizza, among others.
This archeological site is located 226 miles from Chihuahua and 175 miles from Ciudad Juarez and covers fifty hectares which have not been explored completely. Looking at the several-story-high buildings, the ceremonial areas, the large and functional hydraulic system, as well as its plazas, we reach the conclusion that Paquime was a fully developed cuty, built by highly evolved people. We will visit the archeological site, the museum and Mata Ortiz town famous for its artesanal pottery, where we will have time for shopping at the gallery stores.

12 miles south of Chihuahua City on highway 45 is the old town of Santa Eulalia, whose origins date back to 1709, when a New Mexico Indian found rich silver mine. You will visit the old Mine, and will enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of Chihuahua City.
