Walking Tour In The Old City
Walk through the streets and squares of the historic center and walled Historic Heritage Site by UNESCO. During the tour you enter the Cloister and Church of San Pedro Claver, built in the early seventeenth century by the Jesuits, is named after who was the defender and protector of the slaves and was called "slave of slaves" and "The Apostle of the Blacks ". San Pedro Claver lived in this monastery till his last days in Cartagena de Indias. The tour continues to the Plaza de Bolivar, with the statue of our liberator. The Palace of the Inquisition, where the Sentencing Court of the Inquisition took place and the trials of the crimes against the Christian faith, you can see some elements of torture used at that time. Also you visit Las Bovedas, where you can buy handicrafts and souvenirs.
