Cruise across majestic Moreton Bay to Moreton Island and drive the 4WD off the ferry directly on to the beach. Moreton is the worlds third largest sand island of which 98% is a protected National Park, with no sealed roads; 4WD is the only mode of transport. First, we travel along the western side through the village of Bulwer.
Expect exciting wildlife shows and some up close and personal animal encounters at Australia Zoo made famous by Steve and Terri Irwin. The zoo is now a living legacy to Steve and his wildlife conservation efforts. Australia Zoo is home to over 1,000 native and exotic species of wildlife that cant wait to get up close and personal to you! Get hands-on with cuddly koalas, wombats, snakes and kangaroos.
Begin the day with a relaxing cruise across Moreton Bay to Tangalooma. Throughout the day, enjoy a variety of experiences including hand-feeding a pod of wild dolphins at dusk (weather and tides permitting) and sand tobogganing down sand dunes reaching speeds of up to 40km/h.
After departing Brisbane we swap vehicles at Noosaville in our air-conditioned 20 Seat 4WD Warrior and experience a sensational tour of World Heritage Listed Fraser Island. Depart Noosa by heading across the Noosa river via cable ferry crossing taking you deep into the Cooloola National Park and highlighting the Teewah or Rainbow Beach coloured sands before stopping for morning tea on the beach.
